Washington State public transit agencies wishing to join the Pool must be committed to the concept of pooling and continuous improvement in governance, management and operations. To be eligible for membership a prospective transit agency must have been in operation at least two years, provide at least two modes of public transportation, and have minimum annual mileage from all modes of at least 200,000. Transit agencies joining the Pool must remain members for a minimum of 36 months; a Member may withdraw by providing written notice six months prior to the end of the Pools fiscal year. Members that withdraw are not allowed to rejoin WSTIP for a period of 36 months.
