Question 1: What would be the number of awards you intend to give(approximate number)?
Answer 1: One

Question 2: What are the estimated funds that are estimated to be allocated for this contract?

Question 3: What is the tentative start date of this engagement?
Answer 3: May 2

Question 4: What is the work location of the proposed candidates?
Answer 4: To be determined.  The WSTIP office is located in Olympia, Washington.  Likely the candidate will need to reside in Washington and possibly within comfortable commute distance to Olympia.  The consultant will work with the Board or Committee to determine those details prior to recruitment beginning.

Question 5: Is this a new contract or are there any incumbents? If there is an incumbent, could you please let us know the incumbent name and pricing and are the incumbents eligible to submit the proposal again?
Answer 5: We have never had a contractor for these services.

Question 6: Are there any pain points or issues with the current vendor(s)?

Question 11: If the resources we provide at the time of proposal submission are not available at the time of a potential contract award could vendors replace them with equally qualified resources?

Question 12: Can we provide hourly rate ranges in the price proposal?
Answer 12: No.  We expect a flat price proposal.

Question 13: Is it entirely onsite work or can it be done remotely to some extent / Does the services need to be delivered onsite or is there a possibility for remote operations and performance?
Answer 13: The vendor’s location is not relevant other than it may need to work with the Board or a Committee.  Some of this can be done remotely.

Question 14: Are resumes required at the time of proposal submission? If yes, Do we need to submit the actual resumes for proposed candidates or can we submit the sample resumes?
Answer 14: No.  We are selecting a recruiting service, not candidates at this time.

In the context of what WSTIP offers its employees:

Employee Benefits:  WSTIP offers a competitive salary and an employee benefit package that includes health, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance.  Retirement benefits are provided by the Public Employees’ Retirement System administered by the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems.  WSTIP does not pay into social security but in lieu offers a 401A plan.  457 deferred compensation plans are also optionally available.

Paid Time Off:  WSTIP utilizes a paid general leave bank (combo sick leave and vacation) with new employees earning 24 days per year.  Eight paid holidays are also included (holidays not included: Martin Luther King, President’s Day, and Veterans Day).
